The interior of the tower and the original French optics are still in operation. It shines from 21 July. - 16 May. It is switched off during the midnight sun. |*The lighthouse has sleeping cabins that cannot be rented out as accommodation at the moment (2023) due to inadequate fire protection. A foghorn was installed in 1923. The fire was automated in 1991. Today it is looked after by the ‘Terningens Venner’ circle of friends, who also offer overnight accommodation |

Several buildings are arranged around the cast iron 29 m high tower -> In 1939 the station was equipped with a radio beacon and in 1988 it was automated. The lighthouse was decommissioned in 1993 and has been a listed building since 1999. |
