The vessel is a fully fitted for the transport and handling of dry cement in bulk. Discharging is done pneumatically via one or two hoses between the vessel and reception facilities. The cargo is pumped out by compressed air which is supplied by vessel’s integrated cargo handling equipment. The vessel can also discharge mechanically directly into trucks or railway wagons. This is done by use of an unloader arm fitted with one flexible chute for connection to trucks/wagons. The capacity above is indicating continues flow, excluding truck positioning. Loading can be performed either pneumatically or by gravity. Dust emissions to the environment are eliminated by dust collectors fitted on board. Apart from cement the vessel can carry other commodities such as slag powder and similar products.
