In Kiel at German Naval Yards (former ADM Kiel)a sailing ship of 144 m lenght is under construction, project name is WHITE PEARL After completion the ship will be the biggest private sailing ship ever built, owner is the russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko. The 3 masts, each more than 90 m long were built in UK and shipped with the ponton under tow of tug MTS Victory from Portsmouth to Kiel / 22.June 2015
