1600 TEU Container Ship/The total number of 1,176 units of 20’ container each loaded with 14 t/TEU homogeneously is remarkable for a ship of this size.For the transport of reefer containers a total number of 178 plugs are installed, thereof 44 plugs are arranged in the cargo holds and 134 plugs on deck.The vessels are fitted with three cargo cranes with a lifting capacity of 45 t each.
The propulsion system, consisting of a two stroke main engine make MAN/B&W, type 8S 50MC-C, of improved performance and a controllable pitch propeller plant, guarantees the vessels a speed of approx. 20 knots.The combination of a high-performance flap rudder and an 800 kW bow thruster provides for very good ma-noeuvring characteristics.19 crew members are accommodated in comfortable single cabins.
