4.2.1986: Delivered.

9.1988: Owners restyled to 3i plc, London, (Blue Star Ship Management Ltd, London, managers), London.

1.1.1989: Star Reefers Pool, a joint venture between Blue Star Line, and Overseas Freezer Operation KG, (Hamburg Sud/R.A.Oetker) commenced operations and vessel entered the pool.

21.1.1992: Transferred to Bahamas Registry, Nassau.

1.1995: Taken on charter by Fyffes for three years. This was later extended to five years.

9.2.1998: Announced that Blue Star Line had been sold to P&O Nedlloyd B.V. Conventional reefer

vessels operated by Star Reefers were excluded from this sale.

1.4.1998: Transferred disponent ownership of Albion Reefer Trading Ltd, managed briefly by Blue Star Ship Management Ltd., and then Norbulk Shipping UK Ltd. Remained in the Star Reefers pool. At the same time the OFA KG shareholding was acquired by Vestey’s.

31.12.2000: Fyffes’s charter ended. (All four were in Singapore changing to Del Monte Livery at beginning of 2001 photos Last Gangway Magazine)

6.2001: Announced that Albion Reefer Trading Ltd., StarReefers had been sold to Swan Reefers ASA. Norway.

9.7.2001: Ownership transferred from Lombard Leasing Metropolitan Ltd to Albion Reefers Ltd, in preparation for delivery to new owners.

9.7.2001: Ownership transferred from Investors in Industries Plc to Albion Reefers Ltd. In preparation for delivery to new owners.

28.8.2001: Transferred to Swan Reefers IV AS, Oslo, Norway, (Trading as Star Reefers), Nassau, Bahamas.

3.9.2001: Announced that a joint venture had been agreed between NYK Reefers of Japan and Swan Reefers - to be known as the NYK Star Reefers Pool.

10.2001: IUM Shipmanagement AS, Grimstad, Norway, appointed managers.

2004: Her container capacity was quoted as 106 (79 below deck/27 on deck)

3.2006: Star Reefers UK Ltd, London, appointed managers.

8.2006: Transferred to Star Reefers Shipowning Inc, Oslo, Norway, (Star Reefers Poland Sp Zoo, Gdynia, Poland, managers), Nassau, Bahamas.

11.2006: Transferred to Liberia Registry, Monrovia.

2008: Her container capacity was quoted as 122 (79 below deck/43 on deck) – 23 reefer plugs.

4.6.2010: Arrived Gdynia, Poland from St Petersburg to lay-up.

5.3.2011: Left Gdynia for San Antonio Este, Argentina.
